I've been putting in a lot of time training lately and needed to rest a little. I took this weekend and just unwound. I understand that it's important to allow your body rest time to recover and build. My issue is that I'm trying to lose weight and I haven't eating properly enough. I've always followed the philosophy of eating well and exercising my tukus off to try to lose weight. I can't wait till i can start riding my bike to work again. It seems every time I have the opportunity to ride, it snows. So I took this weekend off. I ran on the treadmill on Friday morning and really felt pretty good. I'm finally getting to the point where I feel comfortable by the end of my run. Today I'm heading to the gym after work and plan to swim then run. I hope we don't get a lot of snow this week. If we don't I think I'll ride a few days.
We're having a fundraiser at Mongolian Barbeque n February 17. It should a lot of fun. $25 for adults and $10 for kids.
